A new home for the Time Perception Lab
Welcome to our new website! After ten years online, the Time Perception Lab has moved to a new platform and undergone a much-needed redesign. Our web address has recently changed too: you can now find us at manchestertimelab.com (previously timelabmanchester.com). We've also made the site easier to navigate and given it a fresh appearance, while retaining our original TLM logo, designed by former PhD student Emily Williams.
More importantly, we've substantially expanded the information available about our research. The new Research page provides an overview of the work undertaken in the lab over the past decade, including internal-clock mechanisms, retrospective timing, sensory influences on duration judgements, and our collaborations investigating music and time. Our ESRC-funded project examining time perception in autism also has its own dedicated page, and we'll be adding details of new research projects as they develop.
We've updated the lab members' profiles, made the publications list searchable, and introduced a new Time Lab in the Media page, featuring links to interviews, podcasts and press coverage. We've also restored our news archive all the way back to 2016. Looking through those early posts has been a rather enjoyable reminder of the people, projects and events that have shaped the lab over the years.
We hope you find the new site useful. We'll continue to update it with research findings, publications and other developments. As always, please do get in touch if you're interested in our work.
